Antony Estate Houses are all set in a quiet and tranquil corner of Cornwall.

The Rame Peninsula is home to some of the most stunning scenery in the county, dramatic cliff top walks, long sandy beaches, verdant rolling fields and woodland.

The appeal of the area lies in its serenity, known as the “forgotten corner of Cornwall”; the beaches are not as busy or crowded as those on the north coast. However it is within easy reach, by both rail, car and plane without the delays and jams incurred elsewhere in Cornwall. The Tate St Ives, Eden Project and National Maritime Museum at Falmouth are all accessible. Plymouth, three miles away, offers a good regional theatre, cinemas as well as a renowned aquarium.

There are many sporting opportunities to be had in the locality, within 10 miles are two excellent golf courses. The links at nearby Portwrinkle provides challenging play along the cliff tops while a little further afield is the Jack Nicklaus designed St Mellion. Riding is available on Bodmin Moor, shark fishing can be arranged at Looe, sailing at Torpoint and windsurfing on Siblyback reservoir.

For those wanting a more relaxing time wander the coastal footpaths with a picnic. Visit some of the exceptional country houses in the area: Antony House, Mount Edgcumbe, Cotehele and Lanhydrock. Cornwall is famous for its unique climate and therefore an unparalleled selection of gardens open to the public: Heligan, Trewithern, Trelissick, Glendurgan and Trebah, as well as the magnificent collection of magnolias, camellias and rhododendrons found in the Antony Woodland
